
Sarah’s Circle offers multiple internship positions for students of social work, counseling, women's studies, and more. Whether working directly with the women or assisting with the operations of the organization, all Sarah’s Circle interns gain valuable experience working in a service-oriented, not-for-profit environment. Social Work Intern
Social Work interns are expected to see clients to provide case management and crisis intervention services. Social Work interns also complete case plans with clients and facilitate group activities. This internship is offered to graduate and undergraduate level students. Social Work interns are supervised by the Program Director.
Art Therapy Intern
Art Therapy interns work with the women of Sarah's Circle weekly, either on an individual basis or in a group. Art Therapy interns are supervised by the Clinical Director.
Counseling Intern
Counseling interns are responsible for providing one-on-one counseling and adding mental health goals, actions, and progress to the client's service plan. Interns will see and provide clients with crisis intervention and short term case management, as well as facilitate group activities. The internship is available only to graduate students. Counseling interns are supervised by the Clinical Director.
