As we step into a new season at Sarah’s Circle, we are filled with gratitude for the leadership that has guided our Associates Board and excitement for the next chapter ahead.
After four incredible years as President of the Associates Board, Tessa Banks is stepping down from her role. Tessa’s leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to Sarah’s Circle have left a lasting impact—not only on the women we serve, but also on every member of the Associates Board.
Reflecting on her time as President, Tessa shared:
“It’s hard to find the right words to capture what the last four years as AB President have truly meant to me. This experience has been so much more than a role—it’s been a journey of purpose, connection, and deep personal growth. We may be a small group, but the strength, heart, and dedication within this team are extraordinary. Watching us grow together and seeing the real impact we’ve had on the clients at Sarah’s Circle has been nothing short of inspiring. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the friendships I’ve formed—people who have supported, challenged, and inspired me every step of the way. As I look ahead, I’m filled with hope and excitement for all that’s still to come. I know the AB will continue to grow, and its ripple effect on our community will only get stronger. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.”

Please join us in thanking Tessa for her years of service and dedication. Her legacy will continue to inspire the work we do every day.
As we look to the future, we are thrilled to welcome Nora Hennessy and Olivia Rauzi as our new Associates Board Co-Presidents. With their combined energy, passion, and commitment to Sarah’s Circle’s mission, we are confident they will build on the strong foundation laid by Tessa and lead the Associates Board into an exciting new chapter.
Nora shared her excitement about the role:
“I’m very excited & honored to step into the role of President of the Sarah’s Circle Associates Board! Following in the footsteps of Tessa, who successfully held the role for the previous 4 years, means we have big shoes to fill. As co-president, I am eager to work with Olivia, take what we have learned from Tessa, and grow even further. One of my main goals is to increase awareness of Sarah’s Circle and the vital work being done. I think that when people understand the impact of our work and the urgent need in our community, they’re inspired to give. I’m also looking forward to learning more about the organization’s behind-the-scenes operations and finding new ways to support its mission.”

Olivia echoed this enthusiasm:
“I am honored to be Sarah’s Circle’s new AB co-president alongside Nora Hennessy. I’m excited to help shape the direction and success of this organization and make a positive impact on the women of our city. Nora and I will work together to create and implement new fundraising strategies that will allow Sarah’s Circle to reach more donors and continue to exceed our yearly goals.”
