For over 40 years, Sarah’s Circle has been dedicated to ending homelessness for women in Chicago. We know this work takes time and persistence, but we’re in it for the long haul—committed to ensuring that every woman has a safe, permanent place to call home.
At the heart of our work is Permanent Supportive Housing. This is more than just a solution to homelessness; it’s a lifeline. By combining stable, affordable housing with vital services like case management, workshops, and access to resources, Permanent Supportive Housing gives women the tools they need to heal, rebuild, and thrive.
This year, we celebrated a major milestone with the completion of Sarah’s on Lakeside, a new building featuring 28 Permanent Supportive Housing apartments. With this addition, Sarah’s Circle now provides 181 women with safe, permanent homes and the support they need to regain stability and independence.
Permanent Supportive Housing isn’t just about having a place to live—it’s about creating a foundation for change. It ensures that women are no longer facing the instability of temporary shelters, the fear of sleeping on the streets, or the uncertainty of their next meal. Our PSH program is:
- A promise that no woman will be left behind.
- A promise of stability and safety.
- A promise of hope and opportunity.
But there’s still so much more to do. Homelessness is a challenge that requires ongoing solutions and continued support. That’s why we’re asking for your help this giving season.
Your gift will allow us to expand our reach, provide more women with access to Permanent Supportive Housing, and sustain the essential services that help them stay housed for the long term. Together, we can ensure that every woman not only has a place to call home but also the support she needs to thrive.
Your generosity fuels this mission. Please consider making a donation today. With your help, we can continue this vital work—not just for today, but for many years to come. Thank you for standing with us. Together, we can end homelessness for women.
