Sarah’s Circle’s programs continue to remain open and operational during the pandemic. Our agency responded immediately to this crisis by making needed physical and operational changes and coordinating our work with guidance from the Dept. of Public Health.
Now, we are looking ahead to the next 18 months until the end of 2021. Given the increased vulnerability of our clients, public officials are predicting social distancing and preventative measures in place for people who are homeless for an extended period. As such, all program operations will be coordinated with City policies, such as referrals to temporary Interim Housing/shelter facilities. Additionally, we are planning physical modifications to our new facility, Sarah’s on Sheridan, to accommodate clients moving into the completed facility this fall.
We have worked successfully to keep all our clients safe, and this focus will continue as we move forward.
